About Coach Clean
Coach Clean is an interactive elearning programme designed to give coaches the knowledge and understanding to help guide athletes in clean sport. Coach Clean has been developed by sports coach UK and UK Anti-Doping (UKAD) and is the only anti-doping course that relates to the coach’s role.
Coach Clean can help you:

- better prepare athletes for testing
- be able to explain the wide-reaching consequences of an anti-doping rule violation
- understand how to promote clean sport in your own coaching environment
Full of video and interactive content, the online programme is easy to follow and is an excellent tool for coaches who want to know more about clean sport and understand their own responsibilities in regards to anti-doping.
This is an essential component of coach education, helping coaches to develop the next generation of clean athletes.
The programme is the perfect introduction for coaches with no previous knowledge of anti-doping who want to learn more. Experienced coaches can also gain a better understanding of their own role in anti-doping and ensure they are current in their anti-doping knowledge. We are aware that some national governing bodies (NGBs) have included questions on anti-doping as part of the assessment of their UKCC Level 2 Coaching qualification. Coach Clean is now being recommended by some NGBs as the learning tool to cover this area of knowledge. Please be aware that in such circumstances Coach Clean does not provide an alternative assessment and the existing questions within the UKCC Level 2 qualification remain the learners’ summative assessment.
