sports coach UK is undertaking an international review of all recent and on-going coaching research activity.

The need for the review stems from the current absence of one definitive source of coaching research activity and coaching focussed research publications, or indeed any equivalent specialist overseas resource.
The review will help coaching researchers better understand the existing research literature, better situate new projects and provide the basis for establishing coaching research as a more cohesive body of knowledge within multi- and inter-disciplinary fields.
The review will also provide the basis for assessing the strengths and weaknesses of coaching based research activity and identifying the associated knowledge gaps. It will also provide an on-going mechanism for collecting, collating, storing and disseminating high quality coaching research. As such, it should provide a valuable resource for all coaching researchers and scholars.

Coaching researchers, academics, scholars, and postgraduate students are invited to provide details of all their coaching research based on the following criteria:
Scope - research, scholarly activity, conceptual work, where the primary focus is coaching, the coaching process, coach education, coaching demographics
Publication/level - books, journal articles, web-papers, conference papers/proceedings, reports, PhDs, Research Masters thesis, Masters thesis from taught Coaching Masters.
Timing - research conducted from 1990 onwards

It's simple – just REGISTER and proceed through the registration process.

When you have signed in, you will be able to submit details of research projects and publications.

The content will then be checked, 'cleaned' and audited by sports coach UK staff, and entered onto the searchable webpage open to all.
