Coaching Research Database

sports coach UK, with the endorsement of the Association for the Advancement of Applied Sport Psychology (AAASP) and British Association of Sport and Exercise Sciences (BASES) Coaching Interest Groups, has developed a Coaching Research Database.

The aims of the database are to:

  • provide a central accessible source for coaching research.
  • ensure that researchers, academics and others are aware of the latest coaching research.
  • ensure that the future direction of coaching research is situated within the context of the wider literature, and addresses research gaps.

What is on the database?

  • Research, scholarly activity, conceptual work, where the primary focus is coaching, the coaching process, coach education, coaching demographics
  • Publication/level: books, journal articles, web-papers, conference papers/proceedings, reports, PhDs, Research Masters thesis, Masters thesis from taught Coaching Masters.

Who can search the database?

Anyone can SEARCH the Coaching Research Database – no need to register.
