Herts Coach Education Week

sports coach UK Board member Sir Ian McGeechan will give the keynote address at the Hertfordshire Coach-Education Week that takes place from 13-20 February. 

Organised by the Herts Sports Partnership, the week has a range of CPD opportunities for coaches of every level. There are workshops (including several sports coach UK workshops), coaching award courses, seminars and lectures on a range of sports that includes favourites such as football, netball, cricket and rugby union, as well as lacrosse, squash and volleyball. Newer activities for coaches include dodgeball, street dance and even Rock-It-Ball.

There’s also an opportunity to learn from successful coaches and as well as Sir Ian's address, Brendan Venter from Saracens is contributing to the week, while there are lectures on both Clive Woodward and Alex Ferguson.
