The second UK Coaching Summit was held on 17 and 18 April at the De Vere Belton Woods Hotel in Grantham. The summit was attended by key personnel within the UK coaching and sporting industries. The Rt Hon Richard Caborn MP opened the summit and speakers from Home Country Sports Councils, Governing Bodies' of Sport and other key agencies provided information on how the UK Coaching Framework is being implemented within their organisations and how it will impact on the work they are currently undertaking.
The purpose of the event was to inform of, and consider progress that has been made over the last twelve months on the development and implementation of the UK Coaching Framework. The two days were used as an opportunity to gather those whose experience and expertise could be drawn on for input into relevant areas of the framework.
Please view the presentations below for further information on what took place at the summit. Further information will be provided over the coming week.
