International Endorsement for Triathlon Coach Education

The accreditation gives recognition of the UK Coaching Certificate (UKCC), news that has been welcomed by Head of Coach Education and Support at sports coach UK, Steve McQuaid, and Head of Coaching Workforce Development at sports coach UK Andy Gair.
Steve said We are very pleased to hear that the hard work of the BTF on their UKCC-Endorsed programmes has been recognised by their international union. This is the first of what we hope will be a number of commendations for those programmes that have been supported by sports coach UK to achieve their UKCC Endorsement. We would like to extend our congratulations to all involved in this well-deserved recognition.
Andy paid tribute to the BTF, commenting The positive approach of Triathlon's coaching staff over the past three years in the development and implementation of their UKCC provision shows what can be achieved by a sport committed to driving forward its coach-education provision.
