UKCC Information

The UK Coaching Certificate (UKCC) is an endorsement of coach education programmes across sports within the UK set against agreed criteria including:

  • advance coach education programmes and practices
  • support the development of coaching as a profession
  • require a commitment to review and develop existing programmes and practices

The UKCC has it's own dedicated website at www.ukcoachingcertificate.org
This website is currently under review and will be undergoing a re-structure. Whilst this process takes place the latest information will be posted within the sports coach UK website. Once the new UKCC website is up and running, you will be made aware via the homepage of this website.

At submission, sports will be required to submit 4 copies of all evidence for each level entering the endorsement process. This is to facilitate the quick and efficient dissemination of evidence to Internal and External reviewers, ensuring that timescales are adhered to. (It is advised that submissions are sent via recorded delivery).

sports coach UK will accept electronic copies of all evidence if that is the preferred option of the sport, however we do request that this be provided via CD or similar format rather than e mail as experience has taught us that large documents if placed on one e mail tend to be rejected or block up e mails systems. Also when sending in documents on separate emails it has been difficult to ensure that all are present and linked appropriately.
