The Board of sports coach UK is pleased to announce the appointment of Philip Kimberley, the Chairman of England Hockey, as sports coach UK Interim Chair, and a Director of the organisation.

The EIPET project partners are inviting PE and sport professionals to be a part of this conference and resource pack launch on 23 October in Dublin.

The ECB and SkillsActive are now working in partnership with the National Skills Academy for Sport and Active Leisure, sports coach UK and UK Coaching Certificate to implement a scheme in cricket clubs in the north specifically focused on the personal development of coaches and volunteers.

The UK Coaching Awards 2009 will be held at Old Billingsgate, London on Tuesday, 8 December.

SkillsActive have announced that this year has seen six Nancy Ovens Bursaries awarded.
